For Single Adult membership will give you full access to the Gym, Swimming pool, Jacuzzi ,Steam Room, Sauna, Outdoor Hot tub , Fitness Studio & all classes.
Gym Only Membership gives you access to the Gym & Studio Classes only.
Pool only & Aqua classe Membership gives you access to Pool ,Jacuzzi,Steam room,Sauna Outdoor Hot Tub & Aquaclasses
Family memberships: Adults and children over 16yrs have access to all of the above facilities .Children under the age of 16yrs have access to the pool only during childrens hours.
Membership Terms & Conditions
Thank you for becominga member at the Hillgrove Hotel & Fitness Club Monaghan.
In the followingpoints the term “Club” refers to The Fitness Club. We have put togethersome simple “Terms &Conditions” which we hope will ensure all members are able to enjoy the club safelywithout being inconvenienced.
Access:
· Members must presenttheir membership fob each time they visit the club. The club reservesthe right to refuse entrywithout presentation of same.
· Entry will be refused to anyone under the influenceof drugs and alcohol.
· Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn in the club. In the gym, thermal suite and pool area’s swimsuits and exercise clothing,with the exception of tracksuits may not be worn in the public areas of the hotel.
· No animals are permittedin the club other than assistance dogs.
· The club reservesthe right to close facilities without prior noticeshould the need arise. Wheneverpossible advanced warningwill be given.
· Members (16+) of The Fitness Club may be accompanied by a maximumnumber of 2 guests at any one visit unless prior arrangement is made with theclub manager.
· Only adults are permittedto sign in guests.
· The club reserves the right to refuseadmission to any guest.
· All free class entitlements are subject to availability.
· The club reservesthe right to terminate membership without giving reason(refunds may be available subjectto circumstances of membership termination.)
· If for any reason you are unable to use the club your membership it may be suspended for a period of 3 months maximum within a 12-month period. Written notice must be given to the club. The club shall have a right to ask for a doctor’s certificate!
· The member acknowledges that the Fitness Club accepts no liability whatsoever for any personal injury or damage to personal property sustained by the member and the member acknowledges the he/she enters the Fitness Club premises & uses the facilities and parking areas entirely at his/her own risk.
· The club recommends the use of swimming caps, flip flops or pool socks.
· I agree to use the facilities of the Fitness Club entirely at my own risk and that said Fitness Club shall have no liability whatsoever, whether in tort or in contract, for any loss, injury or damage howsoever, sustained by me. I accept full responsibility for my own use of any and all the facilities, appliances, privilege or service whatsoever at my own risk and indemnify and hold harmless the Fitness Club, it’s shareholders and directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents or lessors, from any and all loss, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by me or my property howsoever caused.
· Members are advised not to leave personal belongings in un locked lockers.
· We advise members and guests against wearing jewellery in the Gym , Swimming Pool , Jacuzzi , Hot tub, Steam room or Sauna as we cannot guarantee that they will not be discoloured or damaged while using the above.
· I further acknowledge that I have carefully read and understand the Rules and Regulations of the Fitness Club & hereby undertake to abide by the same.
· I further understand that the terms of this membership Agreement are to be read in conjunction with and in addition to Fitness Club signage. In the event of any conflict between the above-mentioned terms and the Rules and Regulations, the terms of this membership Agreement shall prevail.
Health & Safety:
· Please shower before using the swimmingpool, Jacuzzi, Hot Tub, Steam Room and Sauna.
· Prior to usingthe clubs’ facilities, a Physical ActivityReadiness Questionnaire (PARQ)must be completed and signed. If you have answered, “Yes”to any question in particular number 1,2 &14 we recommend you consult with your doctor first before using the club facilities.
· Running, Jumping and Diving or any otheractivity that may cause harm to otherpool users are not permitted in or aroundthe appropriate areas.
· Members must accept responsibility for their guests and ensure that they abide by the terms and conditions of membership. Members must be with their guests at all time.
· Food and drinkare not permittedon the pool side or changing rooms.
· Glass and crockery are not permittedanywhere in the club other than receptionor lounge area.
· Smoking is not permitted in the club.
· Please ensure you have read the rules & signage before using the pool facilities.
Children:
· Children under the age of 16 yrs may use the facilities between Monday to Thursday 7 am – 7pm, Friday 7am – 8pm, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays830.am – 6.30pm.
· The use of mobile phones while supervising is prohibited.
· Children under 10yrs should be under constant parental supervision while in the water keeping them at arm’s length.
· Children aged 11-14yrs (non-swimmers) parents or guardians must always keep the child within view.
· Children aged 11-14yrs (proficient in water) can complete the water proficiency test by a lifeguard with the presence of a parent, if passed they may attend the pool without a supervising parent or guardian.
· Children aged 15yrs and upwards can attend the pool alone or in groups of no more than two children unless accompanied by an adult.
· Children under the age 16yrs are not permittedto use the Gym, Steam Room, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Hot Tub and Spa.
· Guardians must be over the age of 18yrs.
· Children aged 7yrs and over are advised to use the same sex changing rooms or the Family Room provided.
Benefits of Joining:
· Member discount applied to treatments booked between Monday and Thursdayonly in the Spa.
· 10% discount for members of the Fitness Club when they avail of Spa treatments.
· 10% discount off food for members in KP’s bar or in the Hotel restaurant 7 days a week.
· Valid membership fobs must be presented at the till on payment (T&C@s apply).
Administration:
· The club Management reserves the right to rejectany application for membership withoutgiving reason.
· The club fees & tariffsshall be determined by the club and may be alteredat any time. Members will be notifiedin advanced of any changes.
· The club reservesthe right to terminate the membership of any memberwithout notice, in the eventof a member committing a serious breach of club terms of membership.
· Those members who pay an annual fee have a contract for 12 months from date of joining.
· Those members who wish to pay by direct debit via card payments have a monthly contractrenewing every month.
· Card payments are paid in advance, and can be withdrawn from my account on the first of every month.
· In the event of my card payment not being paid from my bank accountI agree that this fee can be taken consecutively with the following months payment if not paid directly at the club reception.
· In the cancellation or termination of membership all members who wish to cancel must do so in writinggiving 12 days’ notice.
· Membership fobs are only for use by the memberand are not transferable under any circumstances.
· The First Month must be paid up-front before leisure club use commences.
Other Terms:
· Pool inflatables & Balls are not permitted to be used unless it is in a supervised activity.
· Radios, CD player, MobilePhones, Cameras, VideoCameras and otheritems likely to cause annoyance may not be used in the club.
· Lockers should only be used for storage of personal belongings if locked.
· Property stored at owner’s risk and the club will accept no liability for loss or damage.
· Lockers will be clearedevery 24 hours and all items removed.
· The club reserves the right to dispose of any items not claimedwithin 4 weeks.
· The club reserves the right to amend these terms at its absolute discretion. Notification of changes will be displayed on the notice boards
